These Terms of Service govern your use of ORIGINOTE (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides content authenticity certification based on the C2PA standard. This includes:

  • Adding C2PA signatures to digital content
  • Generating verification pages for signed content
  • Embedding AI training opt-out declarations
  • Identity verification through social media and SMS authentication

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date account information. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Sign content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
  • Use false information for identity verification
  • Overload or disrupt the Service's systems
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Impersonate other users

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you upload. The Service processes your content only as necessary to provide the Service. All intellectual property rights in the Service itself belong to the operator.

6. Disclaimer

While we strive for technical accuracy in C2PA signatures, we do not guarantee:

  • That signatures prove copyright ownership
  • Complete verification of the signer's identity
  • Legal enforceability of AI training opt-out declarations
  • Continuous availability of the Service

7. Fees and Payment

Paid plan fees are as displayed in the Service. Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

8. Service Changes and Termination

We may modify or terminate the Service without prior notice. If the Service is terminated, we will endeavor to provide advance notice when possible.

9. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated as needed. We will notify you of significant changes within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
